HP TOUCHPAD FOR $99 | HP TOUCHPAD AT $99

HP TouchPads are being snapped up quickly thanks to fire sale prices, and they may be hard to find.

Just two days after announcing it will discontinue operations for WebOS devices, HP has dropped the price of its TouchPad to a bargain basement $99 for the Wi-Fi only 16GB device and $149 for the 32GB version.
First on sale in Canada but now sold out at Best Buy Canada and Future Shop, the tablet is getting snatched up at lightning speed and is increasingly difficult to find. BestBuy.com in the United States no longer lists the TouchPad. A call to a local store drew a response from an operator that they’re sending them all back to HP.
Slickdeals.com has posted a long list of sites that have sold out of the tablet and some people are saying that even after purchasing one online their orders are being cancelled.
Wal-Mart is selling them in its stores at the liquidation prices but they’re running out of stock quickly. Your best bet -- if you hurry -- is to call your local Wal-mart to see if they still have any.

MUNNA BHAI SEQUEL LATEST UPDATE | UPDATE OF MUNNA BHAI | MUNNA BHAI PART 3 | MUNNA BHAI CHALE AMERICA LATEST UPDATE

First we heard that Sanjay Dutt was out of the latest in the series, now news comes in that the Habib Faisal, the Do Dooni Chaar director, will replace Rajkumar Hirani

Everyone wants to know everything about Munnabhai’s next move – is he headed to America, or somewhere else? Will he uphold his Gandhigiri, or is ‘Annagiri’ the new thought on the filmi block? The gossip mills are working overtime and just when we think we have an answer after some extensive eavesdropping, a new development stops us in our tracks and brings us back to square one. There was unanimous disapproval when the news of Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi replacing Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi was reported. Nasty jokes about why Aamir can’t replace Sanju baba did the rounds and, when the dust on that settled, someone pulled a new one out of the rumour hat – and this one sent us into a serious sulk. Agreed that Habib Faisal, the director of Do Dooni Chaar is a talent to watch out for and all that jazz, but him replacing our man Raju Hirani as the director of the Munnabhai franchise was a little too hard to digest. We didn’t make much of a fuss when we heard that Arbaaz Khan was taking over from Abhinav Kashyap as the director of Dabangg sequel, but if this news about Hirani is true, we are tempted to flag off our own peaceful protest march at Azad Maidan. That is how much we love the Munnabhai series and Raju Hirani. Vidhu Vinod Chopra, you have been warned…!

Retina display iPad 3

Report: Retina display iPad 3 to hit in 'early' 2012

Pouring cold water on reports that Apple intends to launch the next version of the iPad this year, a new report says the company has yet to hit the trial production phase of the device.
The Wall Street Journal reported today that Apple is still in the process of pulling together parts from various vendors for a trial production of the device, which the Journal says is expected to begin sometime in October. A release is said to follow sometime early next year.
Previous reports hinted that Apple might surprise with a new model in time for this year's holiday-shopping season.
One point of note from the Journal's report is that Apple is, in fact, planning to offer a so-called Retina display. That's a panel with a pixel density high enough that the human eye can't make out pixels on items like text and rounded corners. For the iPad, that means the screen size remains the same as it's been in the first two models, except with double the resolution, or 2,048x1,536 pixels. Apple first introduced Retina displays to its own products with the iPhone 4, and it has since filtered down to the latest generation iPod Touch as well.
The news follows a report last month by The Korea Times saying both Samsung and LG were vying to produce higher resolution display panels for Apple's iPad follow-up. A report from DigiTimes earlier this week claimed neither company was reaching good enough yields of the display, which it said was keeping Apple from delivering a new version of the device this year.
A release early next year would coincide with the launch schedules of the previous two devices. The original iPad was launched on April 3, 2010, with its successor arriving less than a year later on March 2, 2011.

LATEST MOVIE STUDENT OF THE YEAR | LATEST UPDATE OF MAHESH BHATT DAUGHTER

Mahesh Bhatt wants daughter Alia to make it on her own

Wethinks the truth is that the fond papa could not resist a launch pad for his beti with someone who makes frivolous candyfloss films, unlike the realistic cinema that he is known for

Mahesh Bhatt has made many careers in his long run as a filmmaker. Remember John Abraham, Bipasha Basu, Emran Hashmi, Mallika Sherawat and his own first born, Pooja Bhatt? But when it came to his second daughter Alia, the Daddy man believed that she must be independent and learn things the hard way by making her own choices. And beti Alia seems to have got it right, at least with her first film. She will be launched alongside two new boys – Varun Dhawan (David Dhawan’s son) and Siddharth Malhotra- in Student of the Year, to be directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions and Shahrukh Khan. TheMy Name is Khan filmmaker intends to recreate the magic of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai in this one. Well, with an offer like that, we are sure the Bhatts knew that there is no better way to kickstart a filmi career than with a famous name. However, Alia’s doting father is not shying away from coughing up the moolah for his daughter’s launch. He promises to actually buy tickets to watch his laadli’s debut film when it releases. Baap ho to aise hi!
